Welcome To Nightingales Pre School
Nightingales is a Fully Registered and Licenced Pre-School & Care Facility – Registered with the Dept. of Health, Dept. of Social Development and the Local Municipality. (Interested parties may view licence certificates for peace of mind should they wish.)
The Educational program followed at Nightingales is quite challenging and was formulated in-house – Our educational program – named “Challenger” – is thus specific to our school.
The Safety of children at all times, as well as complete and total trustworthiness, reliability and integrity of the staff employed at the school; is of utmost importance to the management of the school – therefor ALL classrooms, play areas, children’s ablution facilities, parking area, as well as the road outside the main entrance, is continuously monitored by 44 individual CCTV cameras.

Best Pre-School Education!
Nightingales acts as an extended family and caters for children aged 3 months to 5 years. At Nightingales we believe in working closely with the parents for the benefit of their children; thus, ensuring the parents continue their careers with the least possible worry or concern.
Our Staff
The Owner is a REGISTERED NURSE and MIDWIFE; with current SANC registration – she is in attendance on site.
Groups have a Teacher and/or Team-leader (of which 1 is a First aider) – as well as several assistants – in accordance with specifications/ requirements as set out by the Dept. of Social Development.
Permanent staff are on duty from the morning until closing time – there is no mid-day staff change over and there is no “after care” scenario.
Staff are recognised by their uniforms and name tags.
Our Staff are hand-picked and receive in-house training in accordance with Nightingales own standard of care – related to Nursing Principals and Fundamentals as implemented by the R/N on site.
-All staff are background checked against The National Data Base of Listed Offenders – in accordance with the requirements of the Dept. of Social Development – as per form 29.
